The Brief:
The client wanted to spruce up the guest room/ dressing room with full height cabinets and ample storage for winter jackets, hats, scarves and full length dresses. “Could you put in a gaming center for the kids while you’re at it?”
The client has an impeccable design taste and a clear vision for the style and colour she wanted.
The challenge was accepted!
The Solution:
Ceiling height doors above deep drawers, hand painted and oiled to get the required colour and finish. Internally divided into an array of hanging spaces and shelves. The center cabinet is dedicated to a large screen and storage for gaming equipment, with high up storage. A subtle shadow gap suspends the unit.
Materials:
Birch ply throughout. Concealed soft close drawer runners. Soft close door hinges, Brass colour handles.
